Well, I’m hoping to get a conversation started.  We’ll see how this goes.  I’m about to get off topic, but…..in my class we’ve been discussing how hard online discussions can be to keep going, but how they are one of the most important parts to online learning.  Hmmm……so I guess here at Mixed-Up Minds, we are learning about other people.  Some of us know each other, some of us don’t, but we are all connected…..that leads me to if there is anyone you’d like to add to the group, I’m open to expanding our horizons.  Would probably make it all more fun. :-)

Anyway, back to my real point.  I’ve recently found an old classmate on myspace.  Someone, who in middle school, I really truly disliked.  For a variety of reasons…..she was popular, had all the boys, had money, sat in front of me and shared my birthday (where she would always get flowers and such and I would get nothing).  Later, the end of our senior year, we ended up working together and I really ended up liking her.  We even sat next to each other at graduation.  Now, we’ve run into each other again and it got me to thinking.

Zach and I had a similar experience, of me not liking him at first.

So, are first impressions really as important as we are led to believe?
