Sorry we got you wet at the BBQ. Didn’t mean to do that but it was hot and it felt good anyway didn’t it? You’re a good sport though Hanna. I think next time we should all show up wearing swim suits and shower caps. That way we’ll all be on equal footing to sort of speak. Won’t that make great greeting at the door videos? Let’s not forget the loofa sponges also. It was as always great to see you again Hanna. Byeeeeeee.

The Value of Family July 17, 2006
I haven’t been to active on Mixed- up Minds blog much this past week. Been pretty busy and stressed out a bit, and VERY TIRED. The heat hasn’t helped make things any easier to endure either. But tonight I wanted to take a few minutes and pass along a few thoughts if I may. And I thought that instead of a simple e-mail I would pass along my thoughts to everyone in Mixed-up Minds. The last few years have have thrown some hard times at this family (I consider friends to be family also by the way) and a few blessings to be sure, not the least of which, the marriage of my oldest son Zachary to Jennifer, my wonderfull daughter in-law. In the past week we had to endure another troublesome time with Zachary’s younger brother Cody (my youngest son). We’ve been through tougher things than this but it was nonetheless another hard time in its on right. Hopefully the long term outcome will be a good one. Zahary and Jenn stepped up once again and shared their love, their home, and their patience. Their help and caring were more than instrumental in making a difficult time more endurable. I want everyone to know just what a wonderful family I am graced with. NEVER underestimate the value of family. Saturday afternoon and evening we celebrated Zachary’s 29th birthday and many friends showed up to lend a hand. It was a great time. Zachary and Jenn’s friends are all such great, wonderful and good people. It was so good to see them all together again. I got to know Jenn’s best long time friend Susie (or is it Suzi?) a little bit better on this occasion. She is a marvelous person. One of those people you could sit and talk with for hours and every minute enjoyable! Hope to see you again in the near future Susie. Perhaps you will make some miraculous discovery in cell biology. You go girl. Anyway… once again I want to thank Zachary and Jenn for being there for Cody. It meant a lot to him, I know because he told me this himself. And as always I will be there for you. Good-night everyone out there in Mixed- up Minds. Love y’all. Rondad.
Everyone Read This!!! July 6, 2006
So, here is the deal. We have this super cool blog thing that provides us the oppurtunity to share stories and things, but we are not quite doing all we should be. It is nice to read each other’s posts but if we do not comment on them, what is the point? If we wanted to say things and get no response, we should just talk to our selves. Am I right?! So here’s the deal, when ever ANYONE posts, and you read it comment. Even if you don’t get what they are saying, say “I don’t understand but cool post!” or SOMETHING!
If everyone will do that, I think we all will be alittle more happy with this. Also, I will personally make it my mission to get the other people to join the blog that we already invited. If I do this, or blog family will grow and be a better place for you and me!!
HERE’S YOUR FIRST OPPORTUNITY TO CHANGE OUR WAYS, COMMENT TO THIS AND WE WILL GET THINGS HEADED IN THE RIGHT DIRECTION!
